Tips for keeping bread in top condition

There is nothing more delicious than warm freshly baked bread! However, sometimes you want to store it to use later. Here are our tips for keeping bread in top condition.

• Never keep bread in the fridge as it will dry out
• Make sure bread is cool before you store it
• Place bread in a plastic bag, bread bag or well ventilated bread box
• Store bread at room temperature in a cool, dry, dark place
• Crusty breads are best stored in a paper bag (but best eaten fresh on the day baked!)

• Our breads can be frozen for up to 3 months
• Wrap room temperature bread in silver foil
• Place the wrapped bread inside a freezer safe plastic bag, squeezing out as much air as possible

• Thaw in the unopened plastic bag at room temperature
• Thawing takes approximately 1-2 hours (dependant on the product size)
• Microwaving is not recommended

• Sprinkle or mist lightly with water
• Place in a preheated 2000C oven
• Warm for 6-8 minutes until crusty
• Toasting is another way of refreshing the flavour
• Microwaving is not recommended
